POTATO, POTATO

A$65.00

I was in the back of a cab when we merged with these old, seasoned bikers on the Golden Gate Bridge. I had an A3 sketch pad and a black brush pen and decided to sketch them …FAST. The challenge I gave myself was to put the drawing down before we entered the distant tunnels, some 2000 meters. The distinctive “potato-potato” sound of the twin Harleys acted as a very cool metronome to help with the pace of the brush strokes, and I did achieve my goal, (I will admit to adding a little detail later). As a side note, I did hear that the “potato-potato” sound is a registered trademark of Harley Davidson, though this is unconfirmed.
